Scheduling Appointments
To make an appointment please email Dr Frischtak at DrPatriciaFrischtak@luxsci.net or call 301 841 7363 or appointments use the “contact form” under the "Contact me" tab.

New patients are asked to arrive fifteen minutes prior to their scheduled
appointment to complete any paperwork that hasn’t been completed before the appointments. 

When an appointment date and time is offered well in advance of the actual date please contact Dr Frischtak within 24 hours to accept or reject the appointment.  Dr Frischtak will not hold the appointment date and time unless it's confirmed by you.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments
Please provide 48 hours advance notice – excluding holidays and weekends – to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
All missed appointments are charged full fee if not canceled within a 48 hour notification.
Cancellations due to inclement weather will not be billed. You many cancel or reschedule an appointment by email or call 301 841 7363.

Late Appointments
If you are late for your appointment Dr Frischtak will meet with you for the remainder of your appointment time. You will be responsible for the full fee for your appointment. Dr Frischtak can not go over the allotted time to "make up"  for late arrivals. Please plan enough time to arrive at the appointment.

 Prescriptions Refills and other Medication Requests
Dr Frischtak addresses prescription refill requests on weekdays usually within 24 hours of the received request. 

To minimize errors and increase efficiency Dr Frischtak prefers to receive prescription requests in writing by email or have the pharmacy send her a fax or transmit a electronic request. Please always include your full name, DOB, medication needed and dosage and the pharmacy number.

 Emergency medication refill requests - off business hours/days - will be addressed as soon as Dr Frischtak is able and may be subject to the administrative fee.

 Phone Calls/Consultation
For clinical/medication questions that can be answered quickly by phone you will not be charged. 

Dr Frischtak may charge you for extended phone calls/consultation fee. Dr Frischtak may ask for you to schedule an appointment. Extended phone calls are not a substitute for a in person follow up appointment.

 Privacy Policy and Confidentiality
Dr Frischtak complies with HIPPA privacy guidelines of confidentiality. She will not disclose information about you without your written permission, except in certain very specific situations where she is required to do so by law.   

 Contacting Dr Frischtak
The easiest and fastest way to contact Dr Frischtak is email. Please note that Dr Frischtak's email DrPatriciaFrischtak@yahoo.com is only used for patient communication. Emails are the preferred method for making and rescheduling appointments and medication refill requests. Please note that emails are sent through the internet and confidentiality may be an issue. 

The Frischtak can also be reached by phone at 301 841 7363. Dr Frischtak strives to return calls within one business day. 

 Urgent issues and Emergencies
If you have an Emergency please go to the nearest Emergency Room and/or call "911".
For Urgent issues contact Dr Frischtak and if you can't reach her within a reasonable amount of time, please go to your Emergency Room or call "911".

 Billing and Payment expectations
Payment is due at the time of service. Dr Frischtak accepts checks, cash and credit cards ( Mastercard ,Visa, American Express, Discover). You are responsible for paying your bill at the time of your appointment. Statements will be given to patients at the time of visit. These statements will include all the necessary information for you to submit the necessary information to your insurance company for reimbursement.
